Imprimé avec les paramètres par défaut du PLA classique à savoir buse de 0.4 à 200° vitesse 50mm couche 016 avec le plateau à 60°.L’accroche des couches sont bonnes voir très bonnes bonnes suivant les modèle.Par contre il est préférable d’imprimer avec une buse de 0.4 au minimum sinon ça devient impossible à imprimer.De plus plus on augmente la température plus la couleur devient foncée.

Another revision: Inconsistency in colour between batches and now what I think is new recipee downgraded this once great filament from my “go to” to “maybe for prototyping” filament. It prints bad it’s crumbly. I think particualte inside is now larger in diameter and it makes the print look worse makes layer adhesion weaker and makes bed adhesion harder to achieve. It might still be good for some but for me for running a buisness it just doesnt work. It used to be that I just had to run my gcode to get consistentl good results now every spool needs to be configured separately and results are not as good as they were. It still post proccess nicely but thats the only good thing I can say now.Revised update: don’t know how it happened but my most recent order is slightly different colour. I ordered light wood spool is marked as light wood but the colour is different. Maybe it’s a new batch maybe it’s a mistake dont know. Probably wouldn’t affect most people since not everybody needs to change to a fresh spool mid print but it affected me and possibly ruined a commercial print.I have attached a photo of a colour difference.I print stuff I sell with that filament. It has a lovely texture when printed slightly grainy like some kind of dough but that doesn’t change it’s printing properties at all. It’s lighter than some other brands but since I polish and stain it it doesn’t make difference for me. Overall smooth experience with predictable results. Oh and the smell of it printing is nice 😉

Item arrived packed in vacuum sealed bag and had a wrapping of plastic over the filament. Plus marks for that.Above is the result from a Creality Ender 3 this is using standard PLA settings just increasing the hotend temp to 215. It printed fine BUT…Twice now on larger prints i have encountered a clog its cleared quickly with the needle and the printer starts fine again. One thing i have noticed is that the texture of the filament is quite different and i believe that this filament might require a stronger extruder with dual gears to feed consistently. I will continue to try it and update with my findings

Hibernia5.0:
I’m using this with a 0.4mm nozzle and it flows out nice and smooth and produces attractive looking prints. I don’t think you’d mistake this for real wood – it looks more like plasticine to be honest but the finish is a nice matt colour and the detail is very fine.EDIT: A word of warning. This filament doesn’t produce strong prints so only use it for decorative stuff. I also found it suffered from stringing on an Ender 3 Pro so you may have to adjust the extruder retraction and other settings to reduce that.

This is the first time using a wood based filament; and I have to say I am blown away by how awesome this project turned out. I had heard horror stories about wood filament but after a couple of simple tweaks this was print perfectly and without any major stringing effects.I also own the awesome Eryone ER-20 printer and after using this settings everything was perfectNozzle heat: 215cBed heat: 60cFan speed: 50%Flow rate: 105 (if using default of 100 it can block the nozzle)I would recommend this filament hands down for amazing finish it provides just needs a little lite sanding with 1000 grit; to remove a couple of bumps from retraction.
