AG1.0: I got these pair of headphones on Prime Day and as soon as they arrived I was skeptical of the build quality. Even though this is worth 100$ the build quality is worse than a 30$ pair. It is completely made of plastic which makes it light weight but also makes it vulnerable to break easily. You will often feel that the output volume is highly limited. The noise cancellation is also not good at all. I have used another pair of earbuds from Mpow and they definitely have better ANC than these while they cost half.The sound quality is pretty good and I was really hoping to like this pair but it broke within a week. The ear pads dislodged from the left side and the stitching came apart within a week of use. I have been careful while using these only at my work desk and only storing them inside the provided case in a padded backpack. Despite such care if a 100$ pair of headphones can come apart within a week of use I don’t know what to expect from Philips.
Darrell5.0: I already had a set of headphones but they would only last about 3 hours. These were a prime day deal and I decided to try them. Man am I glad I did!These headphones are very light and comfortable. The sound quality is amazing! But I’m most impressed with the battery life. I’ve used them for around 5 hours and still have over 50 precent battery.They do cancel some sound but they aren’t quite as good as the other headphones I have for this feature. But that is my least concern.If you want comfortable long battery life and great sounding headphones these are the ones to get.
Jessica H.1.0: This review is for the Philips 6506 active noise canceling headphones. The reviews here are combined for four separate models which is misleading and unethical.The 6506 or pure lightweight thin plastic and feel as if they’ll break the first time you put them on your head. The enclosed slipcase wouldn’t protect a sheet of steel let alone these headphones. The review pictures semi-rigid case does not come with the 6506.The bluetooth pairing code is not included in the literature on the box on Philips’ website or available from customer service. I tried 10 different codes gave up put the 6506 back in the box and filed the return.
Victoria4.0: These are fine for letting folks know you’re listening to something else. Or if your ear buds have a tendency to drop out and roll under the seat when traveling. Or worse. This headset it comfortable enough folds up nice and flat for stage and is easy to connect via Bluetooth or enclosed audio cable. At this price point though you’re not going to get noticeable noise canceling. The audio quality is nice enough to turn up and mask some street noise but it’s still there. If you need true noise canceling pony up for Bose.
Jeff1.0: My first ever bad review here.only 45 days after buying these headphones I heard a crack when removing them from my head. Upon inspection I noticed a crack on the earpiece connection. Looking more in to it it seems that the plastic in that area is extremely thin and easy to break.I do not believe these headphones should have broken the way they did so quickly. So I reached out to customer service and filed a report. Through the proper channels using a form that they emailed to me. 21 days passed so I called them back to check the status and they told me they do not support physical damage. The problem is I believe these headphones were sent to me defective. I dont know if it was an air bubble or a poor connection or what but it was unnatural for sure.My take on these is that they are made cheap or there was a defect but either way customer support wasn’t helpful at all. At the end of the call feeling defeated I asked “so I guess I’m out of luck then?” and he says “I guess so”. I wish I didnt buy these.I’m going to try and salvage with some plastic weld as they are still brand new headphones.
