Major Sinner1.0: I had read reports about this card not fitting properly and getting stuck in slots etc though one said it was ok in their Fuji so I took a punt.It DID NOT fit smoothly in my Fuji X-T4. It took some fiddling and slight pressure to insert it then it got stuck in requiring more force than I was happy with to remove it.I don’t think it damaged my card slot as other cards still fit in and out smoothly but I am not risking this one again.Again AMAZING service from Amazon who enabled me to replace it instantly for the Sandisk equivalent.
NickT3.0: I was asked by Sony to write a review of this SD card. When I did my comments were censored (or moderated as they put it). So here is what Sony don’t want you to know. The reason Sony knew I had purchased this item was because I had contacted them because they had announced a recall as some of these cards had failed. As requested I sent them a photo of the serial number to see if the one I purchased was part of the recall batch. From the information available I think mine was one of those effected. After a month I have not been contacted by Sony either to say the card is Ok or to arrange a replacement.Having said all that the card still works very well and it is very fast at recording from the camera and writing to my computer. There are much cheaper options if you don’t need a card that reads and writes very fast. My camera has two card slots so I can backup to the second card so I am not too worried about card failure.
Amazon Customer3.0: After a clean formatting of the SD Card and on a clean installation of Win 10 copied a folder with a combination of pictures and short movies with 16Gb of real usage data to get the writting performance. Restarted the PC and then copied the same folder from the SD Card to the PC Desktop to get the reading performance – both results attached.Surprised with the lower than expected performance tried different memory performance testers and took a few shoots of the results – attached.As seen performance is significantly lower than advertised.Also item fits very tightly onto my A7R4 and is difficult to remove.Returned the item.
Fritz2.0: Had this card for about a year and used it with my Sony A7Riv camera unfortunately my experience has not been good as 2 months ago my A7Riv started having issues with the Autofucus jamming I nearly sent the camera for repair but as a last resort I swapped the Sony Card out for another card and much to my relief the camera functions as normal again.I did like the card before this but it is a lot of money for a card that could let you down so just keep that in mind.On the plus if it does function it is pretty fast and ideal for Wildlife burst style photography
Geena D2.0: I’ve used this in Sony Leica and Fuji cameras that I own. The Fuji is the only camera that it doesn’t get stuck in i.e. require considerable manipulation to remove from the camera. With my A73 and A9 I’ll never use this again for a wedding as I’ve been seriously worried that I wouldn’t be able to get the card out.I may have received a fault one but at that price quality control should be better.
