À 600 € je recommande de vous renseigner sur d’autres références de moniteurs ou carrément une TV 43 pouces si vous avez suffisament de recul mais à moins de 300 comme il l’est souvent sur le site c’est certainement le meilleur choix en VA 27 1440p HDR.Dalle VA donc Backlight Bleeding sur les bords (pas de local dimming pour le réduire) mais il n’est pas excessif à l’usage excepté en luminosité élevée lorsqu’un rendu noir est affiché sur la globalité de l’écran. Un ajustement de la hauteur et de l’inclinaison du moniteur réduit le phénomène et en évitant d’être totalement dans l’obscurité c’est encore mieux. En comparaison j’ai dût retourner le Acer Predator XB253Q à cause de son IPS Glow bleuté impossible à réduire.Au besoin les lampes pour moniteurs incurvés sont désormais à des prix un peu plus raisonnables sur AliEx.Je recommande le test honnête et complet (en anglais) de ce EX2710R par totallydubbedHD sur YouTube. Evitez celui de Snaxan (affilié à Ben Q) elle ment effrontement lorsqu’elle vérifie le Backlight Bleeding. Moi aussi dans l’obscurité si j’affiche un fond d’écran noir profond avec des grands élements colorés au centre le Backlight Bleeding n’est pas perceptible. De même dans un film tant qu’il y a un peu d’éclairage dans une scène le phénomène est léger sur les bordures noires y compris avec la luminosité à 100%.Bien que non certifié ”G-SYNC compatible” l’écran le supporte sans soucis en 165 Hz via Display Port (le câble est inclus avec d’autres n’en achetez pas il y a tout ce qu’il faut). Le Freesync Premium Pro est actif par défaut et il suffit juste d’activer les deux options dans la Configuration de G-SYNC dans les paramètres NVIDIA.Il m’a fallu quelques jours pour m’habituer à la courbe du VA et j’ai dût augmenter la mise à l’échelle du texte à 125% (Paramètres de Windows > Système > Écran) pour que les fenêtres d’applications et les textes soient plus importants. L’affichage est impeccable en 1440p sur un 27 et les haut-parleurs intégrés sont pas trop mal pour du moniteur mais manquent de clarté égaliseur conseillé. Dommage car c’est l’un des arguments de vente : TrueSound by treVolo.Je visionne régulièrement du contenu HDR10+ et Dolby Vision sur ma TV et mon smartphone et contrairement à ce qu’on lit souvent en ligne qu’il faut au moins du HDR 600 sur un moniteur je peux confirmer que le 400 apporte lui aussi beaucoup visuellement aux jeux et fims compatibles. Surtout qu’en plus du HDR standard (Display HDR) Ben Q propose les intéréssants et inédits Game HDRI et Cinema HDRI. Les trois modes peuvent être utilisés avec le HDR Windows ou sans via un HDR émulé. Je rappelle que le HDR Windows doit être activé uniquement lorsque du contenu HDR doit être affiché.Un commentaire mentionne justement que le HDR est mal exploité à cause de Windows un rendu des couleurs délavées et des noirs bleutés avec des gros pixels. Je n’ai pas rencontré ce soucis les contenus HDR affichés ont des couleurs vives et des noirs profonds en deça bien sûr d’un écran Oled et du Dolby Vision.Les différents profils conviennent bien aux différentes situations j’ai configuré le mode Custom pour un usage au quotidien j’indiquerais mes réglages à la fin du commentaire.La télécommande est bien utile (et bien bas de gamme) mais j’aurais préféré une application Windows comme le fait Acer. Les quatre éclairages au verso sont configurables avec différents effets et neuf couleurs. Pour être bien visibles il est préférable que l’écran soit à proximité d’un mur clair.Je conclus ce commentaire par mes réglages en mode Custom notamment pour un usage bureautique et navigation web si cela peut intéresser :Light Tuner : 0Color Vibrance : 10 (9 pour un peu moins de saturation)Brightness : 25 (+ ou – selon préférence)Contrast : 50Sharpness : 5B.I.+ : sera activé à la finGamma : 5 (ou 4 avec Light Tuner à -1 ou -2)Color Temperature : User Define R 96 | G 97 | B 98AMA : 2 (réglage de la réactivité de la dalle)Blur Reduction : OffUne fois tous les réglages appliqués activez (ou non) le B.I.+. Ce capteur ajuste automatiquement certains réglages (luminosité contraste gamma et température de couleur) par rapport à la luminosité ambiante et le contenu affiché. Le mode low blue light peut aussi être réglé avec la télécommande.Pour finir téléchargez sur le site de Ben Q le dernier driver du EX2710R et surtout l’application BenQ Display Quickit qui permet de mettre à jour le firmware du moniteur.

This turned up with the wrong cables inside the box gthe first time and I returned for a replacement as the box looked very much like a customer return. The replacement turned up in a box in much better condition but still with the wrong cables.Otherwise the screen is fantastic and a great upgrade from my old 60hz FHD screen. For the price I am sure it is not the best out there and you could improve on it by spending more but for someone who is a casual gamer and also uses the screen for work this is a fantastic screen.The in built speakers do a good job with sound and are comparable in quality to the desktop speakers I also use. The lights on the back are a fun gimic but not too bright so only come into their own in a dark environment.Plenty of options in the settings to adjust the screen to your preference and it has a decent amount of swivel and height adjustment.The stands is quite big and if you are placing it against a wall the screen itself will sit 6 or 7 inches away from it.Once Amazon helped sort the cable issue I was very happy with the monitor.

Like the previous few reviews mine came with a “kettle lead” power cable instead of a “cloverleaf” connector that the adapter needs. It was pretty disappointing to unbox the monitor and find I couldn’t even plug it in but thankfully I had one of those cables lying around and could just change the fuse (5A to 10A). BenQ support replied to me within hours and sent the correct cable the next day which I can’t fault – my only concern is the original (wrong) cable had a 10A fuse and the new replacement one had a 5A fuse. I swapped the 5A for a 10A and it’s worth noting since previous reviewers had the same cable issue too.A previous reviewer also mentioned their box looked a bit beaten up mine did too but no biggie.I’m a student and a big gamer – I needed a monitor with the real estate and resolution to (quite literally) fit my work and be great for gaming. Upgrading from a 20 inch 1080p 5ms 60hz monitor to this was really quite something. 1000R is about as curved you’re going to get a panel and it’s seen as the “ideal” curvature for the human field of view. This is my first curved monitor and while it looked a little extreme at first it only took around two days to get used to it and I don’t think I would get a future monitor this size (or larger) without it being curved.The 1ms response time 165hz and 2K resolution leave little to be desired. The remote control is surprisingly handy and the speakers sound amazing easily better than your average desktop speakers and it was great to hear a monitor sound so good – saves me buying new speakers!HDR makes content look amazing and HDRi can make content look even better. Game HDRi is more hit or miss with some looking amazing and others looking weird but that’s nothing surprising.The lights on the back look decent in the dark but can barely be seen in the light. Not a concern for me but a nice added feature.FreeSync works fine there are picture and audio modes for all kinds of things like FPS RPG and racing games cinema e-paper and tons of customisation and the menu shows your current resolution and refresh rate which is handy.

This is my monitor hooked up to my gaming rig it has replaced an elderly ROG swift monitor which was starting to degrade.Firstly the positives this is a quality monitor the clarity is excellent the curve is just right and the sound is pretty decent considering the built in nature. There is no backlight bleed and the menu is nicely toggled and easy to set up.I have noticed no lag and no tearing and once I had done some fiddling with both windows/AMD and monitor settings the picture is really good and the colours pop.Now the only negative I have is the HDR set up it is horrible when enabled it makes games unplayable it’s like a total white out with everything light on screen and the rest is muddied and muted making everything look sunbleached.So switch off HDR and play around with settings and you have a great piece of kit which for the price makes it a worthwhile purchase.
