Kevin Lavigne Bourque1.0: After 2 months of using this mouse the left click started to fail sometimes it just won’t register. Plugged in my old logitech to see if it was my PC but everything was fine with the logitech mouse. Made some quick search on the Corsair forum and it seems that the missclicking is a frequent problem corsair users have. Don’t buy this gen of mouse! It’s a shame because the ergonomic is great and the mouse is really lightweight.
Mike S.1.0: Avoid this mouse it has a very high risk of the left click button failing and not registering would take me sometimes 8 clicks for it to do anything corsair knows of the issue and refuses to acknowledge that it has one this was my 3rd and final mouse of th same kind in less then 1 year only lasts 2-3 months then goes to crap if you don’t believe me check the forums other then that major flaw it was good while it worked.the old version before this one had it and I have hd 4 m65 mice over the last 2or 3 years
Nick2.0: As the title describes it’s an awesome mouse on the surface but I had mine have left click issues not even 2 months after purchase. Totally unacceptable for a product of that price. And I’m not alone with that issue. Doesn’t seem to be just bad luck. This issue is the most common issue if you research the web about it. So what that tells me is it’s a design/engineering issue and not just poor QC.My theory is this mouse have a design flaw that makes the left clicking issue a thing. It can’t be the switch failing after only 2 months. It’s either something with the contacts inside or it is a software/driver issue. Can’t know for sure. The issue just appears then disappears. When a switch fails it fails consistently. It doesn’t just fail for 2 hours then go back to life with 100% of the clicks registering as if nothing happened for 12 hours etc.The issue seemed to surface when I played games where you fast click a lot. For example an Hack & Slash game or a Multi-Player Shooter. When playing slow paced Single-Player Shooters or just using the OS for general purposes the issue tended to completely disappear. What’s worst is Corsair doesn’t seem to acknowledge it as being a known issue even though multiple people are reporting the same thing. I also had to pay for RMA shipping and import fees so I just told them to drop the case. They then gave me a pre-paid shipping UPS label which redeems them a bit. But I had to complain to get it.I still had to go through the hassle of buying another cheaper mouse as a temporary replacement and ship that one. After only two months of the purchase for an almost 90 CAD mouse. Not impressive at all. So you can take your chance and buy it it’s maybe a hit or miss. I just hope not all M65 Elites have this issue and that my replacement will be a good one.But as I said there’s certainly a good batch from this model with that issue. So beware. If it wasn’t for that issue that product would be a 4-5 Stars. The synergy the mouse has with other Corsair RGB products through the iCUE software is really neat.
Riz1.0: I thought this mouse was amazing since I was happy with the keyboard but this mouse is terrible. The left-click completely stopped working in less than a month. Absolutely terrible save your money.
Frédérick Leclerc2.0: As many others I had the left-click problem within two months. It’s really a shame because the rest of the mouse is perfect. But without a functional left-click it goes right into trash. It was my first and last corsair mouse.
