Big Al2.0:
The first problem encountered was that the cover over the battery compartment was difficult to close such that it needed some force to put it in place without leaving a gap at one end. Consequently I think it would not be long before the cover broke away from the hinges after heavy use leaving the unit useless. The second problem is that it does not fit the hot shoe very well especially when adjusting the flash angle. I found the unit simply slipped off despite tightening it up as instructed. The final problem was that the image produced by a horizontal orientation came out with a harsh bright middle section. This may be due to my inexperience with the unit using manual mode (no TTL of course). The good points are that it seems easy to use it has the ability to use the unit remotely with the attachment provided and it is cheap for what you get. I am sure for light use it will be fine once you get used to it.

This is more cost effective than buying the now infamous TT560 and a separate transmitter/receiver pack.When I first saw this I was apprehensive because it had few reviews/ comparisons.This is my first flash and it is fantastic.It took 5 minutes to understand it and get it working.I felt confident using it on location without prior experience with this unit.The transmitter battery is 12v 23w (MN21).It does not come with a spare.The flash power can’t be adjusted from the transmitter but is only one press of a button on the back of the flash unit.The transmitter is very small and lightweight and the range is great.

I bought two of these speed lights and although they are not the brightest they are great for creative lighting. They don’t have an Auto setting as they are designed to be adjusted for brightness manually – which is quick and easy. I love the radio control transmitter that fits on the hot shoe of your camera. Alternately you can hold the transmitter in your hand and trigger the speed light from a good distance – even in bright sunlight.

I been very pleased with this brand Neewer as an amator photographer. The prices are suitable for my budgets and the quality is always great.You can mount the flash directly in your DSLR or use it wirelessly. Worked fine in my FUJIFILM X-T100.It is bigger that I expected but I am okay with that (>15 cm/6 in).
