Bought for Sim Racing and it is amazing for it. Came with a Color Calibration & luminance data sheet telling me this monitors actual performance so i know it has been individually tested.Picture is amazing However when the screen is on yet not showing anything there is some leaking of the light in patches on the screen. However this is never actually noticable when in game. Its only when it is completely blank.G sync does work although not offically. I have turned it on and had no issues. One minor point to mention is that the marketing materal mentions that there is very little bevel on the 3 edges except the bottom. This is true but does not mean the screen goes right up to those edges. Yes the gap would probably be smaller than if it wasnt slim but it might be wider than you would expect by looking at what appears to be the screen.I am running mine as a 2nd screen on a GTX1080Ti and most of the time hitting the 165Hz/fps cap.EDIT: I am having occasional screen going completely black for a couple of seconds before returning. I think the issue is the cable that came with the monitor not being able to cope with the amount of data sent over the cable when running 165hz and G-sync. I turned it down to 144Hz without G-sync and it seemed to have disappeared. However I have just had 1 more black screen happen.I think it is not the graphics card as the 2nd monitor did not blackout.I will have to buy a better cable to see if that fixes it. If it does not then it could be something wrong with the monitor i guess. I will buy a better cable and see if the problem persists.UPDATE: The problem with the screen blacking out as mentioned above has been fixed with a proper VESA certified cable that was capable of sustainging the data transfer rate required for 3440×1440@165Hz. So buy yourself a decent cable if you have issues.

I bought this to complement my WFH arrangements as I’m also using my current LG 29″ widescreen IPS beside it so effectively have two screens side-by-side. This really works great with the AOC as it’s curved and can be placed to one side and has additional flexibility as the stand provides multiple tilt/slide capabilities for the optimal view (lift up/down tilt up/down and also swing left/right).PIP works but I didn’t like it tbh and would rather use separate monitors when connecting multiple machines.Gaming wise my venerable alienware laptop is now showing its age at 5 years old and that’s my next purchase in the near future as I couldn’t test it out using 165hz but works fine at 100hz (though you need to make sure to download the driver from the AOC website to ensure the display driver works at that refresh rate).Screen itself is brilliant. No dead pixels and I love the huge curved screen and super wide capability when using multiple windows and remote sessions/screens etc.The only annoyance are the menu buttons. They are fiddly for the OSD settings and infuriating as the power button is right next to them so you always end up hitting it (would have been nice to have them placed further apart or at least some kind of mini led status light possibly). The only other negative are that the Speakers are not very loud as the bass is very light though not a show stopper for me.Amazon also allowed me to purchase this using 0% finance over 5 months which was a no brainer and thank you amazon for providing this facility.

The AOC AGON CU34G3S ultrawide monitor is pretty good and very easy to set up. The picture quality is amazing and looks beautiful. The left right and top bezels are really thin and the bottom while larger than the others still fits well with the design. Once you get used to the menu buttons the OSD is easy to use and you can also set up the monitor display options from the AOC software.Theirs a little blacklight bleeding in the left corners but it’s not too bad if it gets worst I’ll amend this review. Also there is ghosting with white text on a black background it’s not a deal breaker but my older monitor never had this issue. The only real downside is the built-in speakers they are just awful. For £422.97 they could have added a better quility of speaker or not have them at all for all the use you get out of them.Being able to purchase with amazon 5 monthly payments is a godsend.

Amazon Customer1.0:
Monitor looks great on spec however found a dead pixel within first week of use returned.

Been using this for only a short while but so far I am happy with the picture quality and wide aspect ratio. I won’t be using this for gaming but for a two windows open a one time. I will update later on
