I was deliberating for a long time about which mechanical keyboard I should buy. Some factors that I considered were s follows:Since I am a touch typist I did not need very clicky keyboards hence i went for the switch which had a low enough actuation force. Cherry MX Red it was then.The keyboard is very sturdy and on the heavier side which means that it sits snugly on the table and does not move around on it’s own even when you type very fast ( gaming or when your code isn’t working ).The keypress is the typical Cherry MX Red feel and it is something that cannot be described in words. One has to simply feel this. I can only say that for touch typists it is a gift and your fingers won’t get tired even after typing on this keyboard for hours.The keyboard is lit with Red lighting with 3 varying levels of brightness. I did not need any fancy lighting hence I do not like / dislike this feature but it is always good to have.The only small gripe I have about this keyboard is that the Windows ( or Command key if you’re using a Mac ) key is very small when compared to ALT and CTRL keys between which it sits. Sometimes it gets missed especially if you’re on a mac and the Command key is necessary for everything. They certainly do have the space to put in a bigger key for it.Go for this keyboard. You’ll not get a better variant at this price.

As far as i came to know about mechanical gaming keyboards I am a fan of CORSAIR products in this category. Although my favorite is K95 RGB Platinum but K68 is also great keyboard fir that money. Even though i like RGB i tend to prefer RED so went K68 Red instead. Oh boy is this a good decision the build quality is fantastic packaging is excellent the actuation tactile feedback you get from this mechanical keyboard is totally next level. I felt like its absolute value for money and recommend it to people who are looking for buying this product. If anyone is wondering this doesnt have macro keys but have full suit of media keys cherry MX Red switched along with spill and dust proof protection. This will be a great addition for any gamer or professionals who want to take their typing experience to next level.

Amazing keyboard.The Cherry MX Red keys are not as clicking when compared to other keys but they are fine keys nonetheless; this factor is just a personal one.The keyboard seems very easy to clean and vacuum under the keys.The lighting and customization with the software that you can download is very sleek and satisfying.The volume keys work fine but the media keys needs 3rd party tinkering before you can get them to work with the apps you want.Very satisfied with my new keyboard from Corsair!

I got this keyboard (Corsair Gaming K68 Mechanical Keyboard Backlit LED Cherry MX Red Dust and Spill Resistant – CH-9102020-NA) back in Nov 2019 for $89CDN. I’m writing this review in January 2021 where it now costs $229CDN.It worked great for the last two years but over the last few months it’s been accumulating some issues. When I hit a key sometimes it presses it 2+ times. I thought I just needed to clean it a little bit so I’d clean the key and then a different key would start acting up. Now it’s happening with many keys at once sometimes pressing 4-5 times for specific keys and then it doesn’t happen again for another few days.I looked online and it seems *many* others have been having this issue as well. It’s all over the Corsair forum and has been a long-term (and I guess ongoing) issue with Corsair keyboards.

Quality keyboard nice to type and game on not too noisy and not clicky a satisfying sound from the keys. The keys sit slightly higher than what I’m used but it’s not uncomfortable. The wrist rest could be a little deeper to make it a little more comfortable for those with larger hands that’d be my only complaint. I feel like it was great value at the discounted price I paid.
