Not sure if the crack was already there or I make a mistake (though I have not cracked a screen protector in the middle before)I have seen people comment that the texture of this makes the nib of the pencil wear out faster now I realize its true because it does feel white rough to the tough ( not like writing paper but almost like construction paper). But I was aware of this possibility when I purchased it so not complaining about that. Noting it down hoping it would help someone else make the purchasing decision.
Lynne Z.1.0: I BOUGHT THIS AND I AM FURIOUS ABOUT THE QUALITY. let me just warn you you should NOT buy this unless you want to replace your apple pencil tip in less than 2 months. IT FEELS LIKE ACTUAL SAND PAPER. my sister bought a matter screen protector from ebay and it was cheaper and sooo much smoother. Shes been using it for more than 2 years now and her pencil tip is COMPLETELY fine (she draws and writes on it more than me). But i decided to try this out and compared to the one my sister bought this one is terrible. I would give it zero stars if i could. Only buy this if you want sand paper as a screen protector. My pencil tip has the metal part exposed in under 2 months. If that isnt concerning then i dont know what is.I regret purchasing this.
Amazon Customer4.0: Bought this and the instructions were kind of difficult to understand. I wrecked the first one I bought trying to put it in but once I understood how it worked the second time was better. Still had a tiny blemish after installing but I love it and how it feels now that it’s on.
Piatritous2.0: It doesn’t feel like paper. It’s not smooth think olden day pad paper that have those micro gritty things. Really hard to apply it ended up with a lot of air bubbles.Good to write on but just feels weird when I lay my hand on it.
Jeannie1.0: After applying the screen protector my apple pen won’t write or response to the iPad Air. The whole point of me buying a paper like screen protector is to feel like writing on paper and this has miserably failed.
